Providing job opportunities for the young generation including utilizing modern technology through Artificial Intelligence, AI, and exploring collaboration in enhancing connectivity, eco-tourism and trade in halal products, are among those discussed by The Speaker of the Legislative Council during a seperate courtesy calls from the Vice President and Country Chair, Shell Companies in Brunei Darussalam, and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Cambodia to Brunei Darussalam. The courtesy calls took place this morning at Dewan Majlis Building.

 

Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Lela Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Rahman bin Dato Setia Haji Mohamed Taib, first received a courtesy call from Mr. Henry Bristol, Vice President and Country Chair, Shell Companies in Brunei Darussalam. During the call, both parties touched on the strategic relationship and continous cooperation between Shell Companies and the country in supporting economic development, particularly in the energy sector. 

 

The Speaker of the Legislative Council also received a courtesy call from His Excellency Chey Ratha, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Cambodia to the country.  During the courtesy call, discussions focused on the close relationship between Brunei Darussalam and Cambodia, including areas of cooperation between the legislatives of both countries.  Also present was Datin Paduka Doctor Dayang Hajah Huraini binti Pehin Orang Kaya Setia Jaya Dato Paduka Awang Haji Hurairah, Clerk To The Privy Council, Secretary To The Cabinet Ministers' Council and Clerk To The Legislative Council.
